Used Trailer Consignment Program

We offer a consignment program for Used Trailers of all types. Our professional, experienced sales staff will assist customers with estimating a realistic retail value for their trailer. We will also design a sales strategy to market the trailer at the maximum price in a practical time frame. Our commissions are very reasonable.

Our Service Department is available to conduct Virginia State Inspections and/or make any repairs needed to maximize resaleability.

Further, we do not require an exclusive sales contract. Should the trailer owner find a buyer, while the trailer is here and offered for sale, no commission will be due Blue Ridge Trailer Sales. We only collect a commission if we find the buyer and close the sale.

We do require a Service Department "as is" condition inspection so that we can accurately present the used product to potential buyers. Existing defects need not be fixed in order to offer the trailer to the market. The existing trailer owner decides in what condition to offer the trailer for sale.

Consignment Commission Schedule (Effective 9/3/2009)
We charge a flat 10% of the selling price as our commission plus the shop inspection fee as listed below. The cost of the inspections and the commisions are subtrated from the final selling price.
